October 2023: The FLPLS purchased a long-arm quilting machine for use in the North Ridgeville Branch Maker Space.
September 2023: The 2023 Connect to a Cause Campaign raised $2,400 for the purchase of books and maintenance of the five StoryWalks located throughout the system.
April 2023: Our third year participating in the national Library Giving Day campaign has raised a total of $745 for specialty library services.
Summer 2022: The FPLS provided starter funds for purchase of fishing rods and reels for the North Ridgeville Branch fishing program.
Fall 2022: We ran a community-wide campaign for engraved pavers that were used to create a walk way in the Avon Branch reading garden. Over $35,000 was raised for the pathway.
Summer Reading Program: Since 2004, the Foundation has provided funds for summer reading prizes.
Summer 2018 : The Foundation provided $25,000 for the purchase of the Discovery on the Go outreach van.
2017 : The Foundation was one of the first supporters of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Ohio and donated $5,000 to begin the program.
