April – Library Giving Day
The Foundation Participates in this national day of giving to public libraries throughout the United States. We were an inaugural participant and continue to grow our reach each year. Funds raised provided materials for library programs. In 2025, all funds raised will go towards STEAM programs.
September – Connect to a Cause
Each September the Foundation participates in the county wide crowd funding event of the year. Donations are directed to the Foundation Endowment Fund where they are judicially invested to grow in perpetuity. The interest from this fund is used for larger projects not fully funded by traditional library resources such as the community Freedge and branch StoryWalks.
